Credit notes against an invoice or standalone: drafts, finalization, rendering and totals, all in integer minor units. You issue a credit note against an invoice or standalone: the recipient, the reason (returned goods, overcharge, discount correction, service issue, other), line items with quantity, unit price and tax rate, and the currency. Every credit note starts as a draft with a CN-DRAFT id no client sees; credit_note_finalize burns the final CN-YYYY-NNNN number in the issue date's year and freezes it, because a finalized credit note is a document the client may have seen, and it can neither be edited nor deleted from there. The counter is written before the record, so a crash burns a number rather than reusing one, and the final series never has a gap. credit_note_render returns Markdown to paste into an email or a self-contained printable HTML page, drafts marked with a DRAFT banner, and credit_note_summary totals what was credited per currency, reason and month.
This server opens no sibling store on any route: a credit against an invoice names the invoice by its reference and nothing more, so the hosted route needs nothing but what you type, and the ten free finalized notes and the CN-YYYY-NNNN series follow the key rather than the machine. There is no network call inside the server, so the per-line rounding is the same here as on a laptop, down to the minor unit. credit_note_render returns the document inline as Markdown or HTML, so there is no download link to chase and no file ever written on the hosted route.

The line math is documented so the printed document reproduces on a calculator: gross is quantity times unit price rounded half-up once, tax is per line rounded half-up on its own base, and the note totals are plain integer sums of the already-rounded line values. On the worked note, 3 x 2,499 at 23% and 1 x 999 at 23% and 1 x 1,200 untaxed give subtotal 9,696, tax 1,954 and total 11,650, and 2.5 x 3,333 rounds half-up to 8,333, never banker's 8,332. The unit suite asserts both.
https://mcp.zovo.one/mcp/connect mints an anonymous token and prints a URL per server, including this one, shaped like https://mcp.zovo.one/mcp/credit-note/t/<token>. That URL works with no headers: the token is in the path, not in an Authorization field this form does not have.
Idle anonymous tokens are swept after 30 days. Since this route has no filesystem, a file MCP Credit Note generates comes back as a download link that expires after one hour. A Pro key can replace the token in the same URL and removes the free-tier limits.
On an individual Pro or Max plan you add the connector yourself from Customize, Connectors. On Team and Enterprise it is the other way round: only an Owner or Primary Owner can add a custom connector, at Organization settings, Connectors, and members then connect to what the Owner added rather than pasting their own URL.
Free: Ten finalized credit notes, lifetime. Drafts, edits, deletion of drafts, listing, reading, rendering and the totals summary are free and unlimited on every tier, because finalizing is the metered act: that is what turns a draft into the document the client sees. Free renders carry a one-line footer. Pro is $19 once, verified offline, and binds to the token after checkout.
No. Add custom connector offers an Advanced settings section with an OAuth Client ID and Client Secret, but the connect-by-URL route does not use it. Leave both blank: the token in the URL path is what authenticates.
That is documented, not a bug: on Team and Enterprise, only an Owner or Primary Owner can add a custom connector, at Organization settings, Connectors, Add, Custom, Web. After that, members connect to the URL the Owner added from Customize, Connectors.
